How to win on slots thanks to casino strategy

I will start up by saying to Black Jack Joe that you will get over the losing streak. It’s just a matter of hanging in there and thinking positive. That goes for all of life I think. I wouldn’t be where I was today if I was not taught this strong message from a really young age. What I do when I lose for some time is to leave the computer, go out in to the garden, do some work there and just clear my thoughts. Life is not about gaming. Gaming is just a fun part of it.

Anyway, back to the topic of this post. How DO you stay successful and actually MAKE money in casinos? It is always good to have a casino strategy and the most important casino strategy is simply to cut your losses.

The importance of keeping down losses cannot be over-emphasised. The wins will come, you can be sure of that! The key is keeping your losses to such a minimum that when you do hit the winning streak, you don’t have a lot of losses to regain.

There are two methods for this. Naked pulls and loss limits.

Naked pulls is just as important in getting you away from a cold slot machine before it gets all your cash. “Naked” means “nothing” and “pulls” is for “plays.” If you are not getting a return over a series of plays, then that machine is cold.

To get your naked pulls number think of a number between 7 and 14. You have to give the slot game at least 7 pulls, but when you reach the teens, it’s becoming increasingly obvious its a cold machine.

Let’s suppose you pick ten as your naked pulls. The instant you reach ten pulls with zero return, you finish that session. Don’t even think about another pull, just leave. One more will lead to another then another and so on, before you know it, you’ve just given one machine all your cash.

Loss limits (you can also call it money management and self control) is another casino strategy that might work for you are the amount of money you can lose on a particular day. Then you just quit! No going back to the cashier and getting more money to play - that’s it.  Everybody loses sometimes and its important to keep those losses to a minimum so you don’t leave after playing online feeling lousy or frustrated because you have just lost to much, be it $100, or $500+. The higher the loss, the worse you feel. Therefore set loss limits that protect your overall bankroll on days when you don’t find a hot slot game.

And don’t play down to your last coin! Do you think if you carry on playing on up to $14 or $16 or $18 at that same slot machine that’s not paying out, that the last handful of coins are gonna repay you all those losses? Nope, its a cold machine and you have to rely on your loss limit to protect you. It will make you feel sad at first, but much better after a little while to know you have the power to stop.
